I also recieved this message today (6/28). I sent an email reply to them demanding that they provide proof that they are actually from microsoft. Instead, they sent me an email wanting my bank information! I don't think so!! I also emailed microsoft to inform them that someone was using their name and banners from MSN to scam people. Obviously this is a fake and I'm shocked that people would actually respond to this and provide their bank information!! I even have the spam guard activated on my email and it still got through! Terrible People

yeah i received the same email on 6/28. I also sent a response asking them for verification. I also forwarded the email to Microsoft, from which i've had no response. If only it were true haha.

I also received this email. When I wrote back asking for proof of legitimacy, my "assigned agent," Mr. James Carter, sent me an email asking for personal info. It mentioned something about "Giovan Security Company" which I attempted to find info on but could not. The London BBB hadn't had a listing, and no web info could be found. The information they requested didn't include financial, but it asked for enough personal information to find out everything about me. If it was a legitimate prize they would only need enough info to make out the check and mail it to you.
